# Bulk Variant Generation

> Generate outputs from multiple AI models or the same model in parallel to quickly iterate.

## Overview

Bulk Variant Generation lets you instantly generate results from multiple AI models or the same model at one time. With just a couple of clicks, you can take any prompt, chat, or
image and generate multiple versions. It’s one of the fastest ways to explore creativity, quality, or get to a desired output quickly across Spine’s 300+ supported models.

## How to Use

1. **Select a Block** – Choose a [Prompt](/app/blocks/prompt-block), [Image](/app/blocks/image-generation-block), or [Chat Block](/app/blocks/chat-block) you want to explore variations for. Be sure to run it once, otherwise the variation button will be greyed out.

2. **Click “Variations” Icon** – Select whether to vary by same model or vary by different models. If choosing to vary by different models, choose what models to vary with.

3. **Run Variations** – Hit "Generate Alternatives" which will run.
