Context Management lets you configure how Spine’s AI models handle context and memory across your workspace. From the Settings → Context Management panel,
you can enable features like Maximum Context Mode (enabled by default) and Memory to add persistent context across all blocks.
Key Features
Maximum Context Mode
Enable Spine to use each model’s full context window for deeper understanding and more accurate results — ideal for large canvases and research-heavy workflows.
- Larger context window – Models process more data across connected blocks.
- Better comprehension – Handles complex chains of reasoning or long documents with more precision.
- Slightly slower responses – Due to increased context size, but with improved output quality.
- Best for – Analysis, research, and long-form reasoning tasks.
Memory
Add persistent context that gets used across all block processing and initial natural language input to canvas creation. Memory provides important user context for more coherent and contextually aware responses.
- Canvas-wide recall – The memory text is used as implicit context for every block.
- Smarter personalization – AI better understands your preferences and workflows.
- Optional toggle – Turn memory on or off at any time.
- Editable memory – Click “View/Edit Canvas Memory” to review or adjust stored context.
How to Use
