Overview

The YouTube Block lets you pull a YouTube video directly into your canvas. Just paste the link, and Spine automatically loads the video so you can use it as live context in any AI workflow — perfect for summarizing, analyzing, or generating new content from video material.

Key Features

  • Quick Video Import – Paste any YouTube URL to instantly load the video and transcript.
  • Context Sharing – Connect the block to others (like Prompt, Chat, or Image) so the AI can reference what’s said in the video.
  • Versatile Use – Summarize videos, extract insights, create lists, visuals, or outlines — all powered by the transcript context.
  • Lightweight and Fast – No configuration or settings; just plug in a link and start building.

How to Use

  1. Add a YouTube Block – Click on the canvas → Select “YouTube Block.” OR simply paste a YouTube URL onto the canvas.
  2. Paste the Video URL – Add any public YouTube link.
  3. Connect to Other Blocks – Drag lines to a Prompt, Chat, or Image Block to use the transcript as context.
  4. Run an Action – Ask connected blocks to summarize the video, extract highlights, or generate visuals inspired by its content.
