Overview

The Document Block generates production-quality .docx files. This is different from the Memo or Prompt blocks, which produce intermediary text on the canvas. The Document block is agentic and focused on high-quality document production: proper formatting, section structure, and professional styling. It is an artifact builder block — more agentic than intermediary blocks, running models in loops behind the scenes to produce high-quality finished outputs. Documents are downloadable and shareable via hosted link.

How to Use

  1. Add a Document Block — Click on the canvas → Select “Document Block”
  2. Describe the document — Provide instructions on content, structure, audience, and style
  3. Connect context — Link to Research, Chat, Table, or other blocks to pull in relevant content
  4. Generate — Click run to produce the document
  5. Download or share — Download as .docx or share via the hosted link
