Overview
The Excel Block generates production-quality .xlsx spreadsheets. This is different from the Table block, which produces intermediary structured data on the canvas. The Excel block is agentic and focused on high-quality spreadsheet production: formulas, formatting, multiple sheets, and charts. It is an artifact builder block — running models in loops behind the scenes to produce finished spreadsheets that are downloadable and shareable.Key Features
- Real formulas — Generates spreadsheets with working Excel formulas, not just static data
- Multiple sheets — Produces multi-sheet workbooks for complex models and analyses
- Charts — Includes charts and data visualizations within the spreadsheet
- Professional formatting — Proper cell formatting, headers, and styling
- Downloadable .xlsx — Download the finished spreadsheet as an Excel file
- Shareable links — Share via URL with your team or stakeholders
- Context integration — Synthesizes data from connected blocks into structured spreadsheets
